What are Air Tube Headphones?
The basic difference between normal headphones and Air Tube Headphones is that regular headphones have a wired connection between the phone and the ear piece. Air Tube Headphones, as the name suggests have a hollow tube that carries the sound through the air, through an Air Tube, thus avoiding transmitting EMF radiation up to your head.
Air Tube headphones have all the normal functionality of regular headphones, the cable is flexible (though possibly not as durable) and plugs into the same port as your usual headphones.
Why would you want Air Tube Headphones?
EMF Protection. A lot of the time people use headphones in order to avoid putting the phone directly to their ear, however using regular headphones with an electrical wire will still transmit EMFs to the head.
Using Air Tube Headphones can reduce your EMF exposure up to 98%.
Which Air Tube Headphones?
There is a range of options available depending on your price range. I have not rested all of them – the ones I use are the KINDEN Air Tube Headset as they are well priced and easy to use.
